Our Founder
Darrell Wayne Porter founded P Squared Works, Inc. on a simple conviction: the young people of DeSoto, South Dallas and the greater Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex doesn't lack potential, they lack a roadmap. For more than a decade, he has served this community through family assistance, scholarships for children of disabled veterans, and support for federal employees through two government shutdowns. The C.O.R.E Life Skills Program is that same commitment, focused on the next generation: equipping youth ages 12–19 with the character, skills, and vision to become the workforce and leaders their community deserves.

Leadership Team
Our leadership team is made up of our Founder and CEO and a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors who bring a wide range of experience across education, industry, military service, skilled trades, and business ownership.

Together, our leadership represents more than 80 years of combined public school and corporate education experience, 35 years of military service, and 30 years of industry and entrepreneurial experience. This depth of knowledge allows us to approach our mission with both practical expertise and a strong understanding of the communities we serve.

Just as important, our leadership team serves without salaries. This intentional commitment allows us to direct approximately 80 percent of our resources toward programs and mission-driven impact, while approximately 20 percent supports the administrative and operational needs required to sustain the organization.

For our supporters, that means more of every dollar can go directly toward the work that matters most.

Our administrative team is here to assist with any questions regarding enrollment, timelines, or prerequisite requirements. Registration for upcoming semesters typically closes two weeks prior to the program start date to ensure all students receive their course materials on time.
